After a few days of it being in the high 90′s with heat indexs in the 100′s we are finally gettin some relif! Its been raining off and on all day. The high for today was 81F.
The rain is so peaceful (well when its not thundering!). We got Mikayla and Landun to finally take a nap at the same time, so we took one ourselves. Mikayla just got up from hers and Landun should be up soon.
Landun has learned how to sit up from laying down postion. The first time I saw him do it he got so excited. It was cute! Then the first time he did in front of Chris, he got all excited again. Little show off! lol

Its only 1:30pm and already its 96F with a heat index of 104F!!!
Just about had heart attack number two this week. I thought I heard Mikayla go to her room, so I go to check on her and she’s not there. I look everywhere, couldnt find her. Noticed my door deadbolt was locked on my door, so I knew she didnt go out. I looked in the bathrooms, bedrooms, closets, cabinets…everywhere!
Landun was throwing a fit so I had to pick him up out of his exasaucer and there she was, under him!!!! That girl is in so much trouble!!
Im glad I didnt decide to call the police, just to tell them that I found her when they got here.
