Yesterday was pretty fun. We finially got out of the house. Even though we are broke, we decided just to go to the mall and look around.
First we went to McDonalds. I dont really like McDonalds much, but Chris wanted to go there. Really, I dont like this particular McDonalds cause one of Chris’s ex’s works there. Thank goodness she wasnt working.
Then we went to Books-a-Millon and looked around for like an hour. Chris ended up buying “The Chronicals of Narnia: Prince Caspian” and is gonna read some of it to Mikayla each night. We’ve been having trouble getting her to go to sleep at night. It seemed to help last night. Chris read her a chapter and left her room. She went to sleep without a fuss. Of course these books arent that long. I have a feeling she’s gonna want it repeated over and over…at least until we get the other six in the set. We figured she’d like the books since she loves the movie.
I looked around at different kinds of books, wishing I had the money to buy them the whole time. I love going into book stores and just looking around though.
Afterward we went to the mall and walked around for maybe two hours or so. Chris kept wanting to spend money on things that we didnt really need..and I kept him from doing so. For instance, he wanted to spend $12 on candles at Yankee Candle and I had to talk him out of it and remind him that we came just to look and get out of the house for awhile. The money that we do have has to last us til Thursday and we dont really have that much.
Chris’s scheldule at work is gonna be changing in a few weeks. June 1st starts his vacation. Then after his vacation he’ll work 10am-7pm Monday – Friday and have every weekend off. He hasnt had weekend off in about two years, so thats gonna be great.
We’ll I gotta go do some cleaning.
Cramps are killing me. I tried to take some Tylenol but could only swallow one pill. I need to get over my fear of swallowing pills. I would get some liquid Tylenol, but I dont have $6 right now, so Im stuck with the Easy Swallow ones that Chris bought me months ago in an attempt to save money from buying the liquid. Not so easy to swallow for me.
