So, Chris had a good day 1 of 2 of his birthday yesterday. He came from lunch around 12:30pm. He had to be back around 1:30pm. I was bored and really sleepy, so I decided to get the kids ready and walk around Wal-Mart for two and a half hours. The kids didn’t give me that much trouble.
I bought Chris a shirt that says “I’m only wearing black til they make something darker.” He really liked it and said that it fit him really well. I got him a card for the first time ever. We’ve been together for 6 years and Ive never bought him a birthday card. I was looking through the $5.50 dvds and found “The Craft,” so I got it for him. He’s into those types of movies. I decided to make him a cake. I got the mix for a spice cake and some cream cheese frosting. Later I found out that spice cake with cream cheese frosting is his favorite cake. I never knew that.
Well I’m off to try to figure out a new layout for this site.
Dang……..I need to stop wasting my money and update this website more often. Not much is going on lately.
Today is Chris’s 25th birthday (day 1). Chris celebrates his birthday on the 5th and 6th of February. It was close to midnight when he was born. He has complications and no one checked the clock. So, he really doesn’t know which day is correct.
Mikayla’s 5th birthday was a few weeks ago. Her birthday kinda sucked though. Around noon I told Chris “you need to pay the power bill sometime this week.” Chris and I went to Walmart to pick up Mikayla’s gift while a friend stayed with the kids. We were walking around Walmart, around 3:30pm, when our friend walks up with all kids in a cart and tells us that our power had been turned off. So, we left the cart and had to go pay the power bill. Good thing we had the money. I think Chris has learned his lesson on procrastinating.
Anyway, the power wasn’t turned back on til around 7:30pm. We sat at home until it got dark and cold. We left and ate supper at Burger King, then walked around Walmart for awhile. We kept calling home to see if our answering machine would come on. So we came home and had a small party for Mikayla. I wanted to bake her a cake but due to the lack of power, we bought her one instead.
Oh and Mikayla was upset. She looked at my friend and said “So, this is what I get for my birthday? The power goes out and our phone get disconnected.” I felt bad for her.
