I was going through my old DVDR’s from when I backed up my computer years ago before I took a break from blogging and I found posts from 2003 – 2007. I imported them to the site because I felt that they needed to be there.

Everyday our dog Lil’Bit loves to bark at the cows next door. Today I looked outside and noticed him in the field with them. He thinks he is one of them. He loves going over there and running from them. He doesn’t realize just how small he is. He thinks he is tough!

The fence between our house and the field is easily passable for him. I don’t know how to keep him from going over there. Its also sucks that when he came back in (we have a doggy door) he smelled like cow manure, which him straight to a very unwanted bath.

Thanksgiving…and the beginning of Christmas

We had a really good Thanksgiving yesterday. In total there was about twelve people here. They enjoyed each others company alot, meaning…no drama! Brandon’s family and Chris’s family were here. This had been the first time that they have met.

We had a 17lb turkey, ham, candy yams, homemade mac and cheese, corn, dressing, orster dressing, cranberry sauce, brown serve rolls, baked beans, pumpkin pie, apple pie, banana pudding, pecan pie, and cherry cheesecake. We has so much food that I am probably forgetting something. It was all very good!

Today we got up around 11am. Chris had worked all night at Walmart, cashiering, which is not his position there. He must’ve went shopping on his 2am lunch break. I woke up to the pack of 15 frames, he bought a griddle, and he got Brandon a GPS. I hope I can find pictures to put in all the frames! Brandon needed a new GPS because the old one would not stay charged and it couldn’t be updated. The skillet got used for some pancakes and eggs made by Chris.

After eating we headed to the Christmas tree farm. We looked around for about an hour before we found a tree. The tree only cost us $35. I was budgeting $100, so that was great! We had alot of fun looking for the tree. The weather was nice and sunny. I had’nt had a real tree in years!
