For as far as I can remember I have been interested in photography. I love looking at photos as well as taking them. My favorite type of photography is portraits, or any photos of people. Photography is my favorite hobby. I enjoy taking photos of my kids, nieces, nephews, sister and pets. At the moment I have no studio experience. I love taking photos outdoors.
I bought my first digital camera in 2003, a Fujifilm finepix 2650 and have been in love with digital photography since then. My second camera in 2004 was the Canon A80 (which I still have, and it still works..even after spilled tea and being lost in the snow for four days). This camera began my love for Canon. So, my next camera bought in 2008 was a Canon S5IS.
Then in 2010 I decided it was time for a DSLR. I found my first DSLR at a pawn shop, the Canon XT. Along with it came a Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III lens. I immediately knew that I could never go back to a point and shoot camera. I know that DSLR cameras are big and bulky, but that is one thing I love about them. I love the feel of a big camera in my hands.As of Jan 2011 I have upgraded to a Canon T1i. I also purchased a lens suited best for portrait photography an Canon 50mm 1.8 II.
